Nige 54 - The Column October 2005 It is that time of year where those of us in the southern hemisphere start to plan our summer holidays while for our friends in the north, it is all about which ski fields and in turn, which ski bunnies they will be dominating this winter. Giddiup! But personally I am totally pumped about the upcoming Aussie summer as besides the beach, beer and babes, I have just received word that my number one English partner in crime (who features in 'Around The World In 80 Babes!') will be gracing us with his presence over the Xmas/New Year period. All I can say is 'Look Out!' as this English gent is one of the original masters of the game and it is without a doubt that he will leave a trail of weak knees and broken hearts throughout Melbourne and parts of Australia once he has cruised his way up our eastern coast with Nige 54 by his side. Game on indeed. Mail time! Nige, What is the deal with 'wing chicks'? If you haven't heard, there are these agencies that exist whereby guys can hire hot women to go out with them and act as the female version of a 'wing man'. Apparently guys are paying good money to go out with these women to a bar or club because throughout the night these very hot looking 'wing chicks' will act as a friend and start talking to other hot women in an effort to then introduce them to their 'friend' (the guy who hired them). After the introduction and if things start going well, the 'wing chick' quietly departs knowing that her job is complete. Apparently, this is meant to work because hot women are attracted to guys with hot women friends. What are your thoughts about this and do you see the need for 'wing chicks'? Eddie - Miami, Florida Eddie, I know exactly what you are talking about here as there was a recent episode on 'CSI Miami' about 'wing chicks'. I have heard that these kind of dating services (if you can call them that), have also been started up in New York and L.A. and I recently read an article about the first 'wing chick' agency starting up on my old stomping ground in Manly, Sydney. I have no idea why an agency like this was set up in Manly as that is the LAST place in the world you need help meeting hot chicks. Anyway, what are my thoughts? Eddie, I have two words for you - absolute bullshit. Throughout my writings you can probably gather that most of the time I am normally against the use of a 'wingman' so you can imagine my bewilderment when I heard that these 'wing chick' agencies were actually starting to attract a strong clientele of men. These agencies may sound like they are on to a good idea, but if any man followed the basic strategies that I speak about throughout these columns and in 'Around The World In 80 Babes!' then there is absolutely no need to spend money to hire hot women to introduce you to other hot women. No need whatsoever. And let me tell you why. You see the fact is that if you do not know how to speak to hot women and attract them towards you, then what are you going to do once a 'wing chick' has introduced you? The fact is that if you can not make interesting conversation and either seduce or make these women attracted to you, then the hot woman that has just been introduced to you is going to walk away soon after meeting you. The flipside to this equation is that if you do know how to do these things, then you clearly will not need a 'wing chick' to help you meet this hot woman in the first place! Can you see the irony here?! So my advice is this. Learn the skills necessary to talk to, attract and eventually date hot women otherwise you will be wasting your hard earned cash on 'wing chicks' that will be unable to assist if you do not have these skills in the first place. And remember that if you do give this a go and it does not work out, then the eventual danger is that this whole exercise could leave you even more disillusioned about women and a lot lighter in the hip pocket as well. In relation to the World Cup in Germany next year, well won't that be an awesome event! Like any international competition there should be a plethora of hot international mega babes however, being football, there will also be ALOT of guys there. But as most of them will be drunk beyond all belief for the vast majority of the time, they shouldn't be too much of an obstacle in getting to the awesome Swedish, Brazilian, French and of course German babes that will be present. However, to ensure you are making the right move and for your own peace of mind make sure you ask yourself the following questions: Are you really in love with this babe or has it merely been a very long time since such a stunning international babe has had an interest in you? Is she really in love with you or just caught up the euphoria of being with a foreign guy in a foreign country? Will she still feel the same when she returns home to reality and is she worth turning your back on your life here? The other thing to think about is the age difference. At 30, you're probably ready to settle down, but being only 21 she has many years and most likely many more boyfriends to experience in her life. Look, I totally understand the situation you are in and if I had acted like you with every hot international babe I have spent time with, then I would have more frequent flyer points than the C.E.O. of Qantas. So the best thing you can do is to let her return home and allow things to cool off for a few weeks. Then, once she has returned to reality and your feelings have settled down, see if the fire is still there and see if it is still radiating from BOTH of you. If so, then away you go.
